This means……Hi, Hello, or Welcome, in my Jandai Language. I trust this short “Message Stick”, finds you all in good health & spirits. No doubt these trying times are challenging us all & I hope your loved ones are also safe, in good health & spirits. I just want to say thank you to all for the wonderful work that each & every one of you do. Be it operational, logistical, or administrative, given all roles are critically important to CPA Group’s clients, however, please have no doubt whatsoever, it provides another layer of protection & capability building to the Remote Communities in which CPA operates. So please note I sincerely thank you all.
Given this week is National Reconciliation Week (NRW) I thought I would send this short message, to provide you my thoughts. NRW is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, achievements, & to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation. CPA Group have demonstrated and continue to be great advocates in this field of endeavour & I am so thankful to you all for this commitment. I know that the Group’s second Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is currently under review by Reconciliation Australia, which is wonderful achievement, once again for CPA Group. After all, in simple terms reconciliation is the act of being respectful & kind to each other.
I also see the key to Reconciliation is teamwork & unity, which I sense is critical to you all, given the small independent teams or lone circumstance you operate in, when continually delivering these important services. Probably one of the easiest ways to think about it is: When we drive a vehicle, we often look in the review mirror to see were we have come from & remember what was behind us. The more important issue is that we must continue to look forward. So, let us all keep looking through the front windscreen!
“NRW 2020, We are all in this together”
In closing, I trust you and your families are all well & I sincerely thank you all.
