At Corporate Protection Australia Group, we are extremely proud to provide service to, partner, and work alongside First Australians.
Corporate Protection Australia Group Pty Ltd’s 2018 – 2020 Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) details our commitment and plans to promote reconciliation between First Australians and broader Australia within our organisation, our business and the wider community. Reconciliation Australia formally endorsed CPA Group’s inaugural Innovate RAP in December 2018.
Our RAP is an extension of our organisational behaviours, particularly those of Relationships, Respect, Opportunities and Commitment. Given our national operating footprint and the remote areas we operate in, we see our Emergency, Training, Safety, Health and Security Divisions as a catalyst for strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the broader community. We believe this also builds genuine capability in those communities.
Our RAP provides us the opportunity to honour the many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people we work with and allows us to formally acknowledge the already strong in links we have with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Our support to these principles is demonstrated by our long term appointment of an Indigenous Liaison Advisor, Mrs Lorraine Hatton.
We practise what we say and are extremely proud in our recorded support of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Dedicated Memorial Queensland Incorporated (ATSIDMQI), Preston Campbell Foundation (PCF), and Aboriginal Centre for Performing Arts (ACPA).
We also enjoy a business partnership with Black Rock Industries and material shareholding in Solid Rock Pty Ltd both being supply nation registered companies.
CPA Group has partnered with Black Rock Industries (a supply nation registered company) to create Solid Rock Industries Pty Ltd a company that offers training services to corporate clients.
CPA Artwork – Artist Interpretation
CPA Group recently commissioned Ms Elizabeth Maloney, (a Kamilaroi / Gamilaroi Woman), and renowned Queensland Indigenous Contemporary Artist, to paint an artwork that hangs with pride in our front reception.
CPA Group is central and represented by the Black Circle.
The 4 White Circles inside the black represent Security, Health & Medical, Fire & Rescue and Isafe.
The surrounding White Shaped letters represent training and the 4 large white dots knowledge, depicting Baseline.
The Blue representing the water and our marine operations footprint and the Orange our land operations footprint.
The black lines travelling in the 4 directions represents CPA Groups service offerings and you will see there is knowledge as we travel (white dots) to service our clients and communities along the way. Clients and Community are represented by the smaller black circles.
You can see we are connected with both land and sea 360 degrees – as well as providing an integrated supply chain suite of services to clients and community along our paths – – this being our ongoing journey
This painting truly depicts CPA Group as a trusted provider who operates an integrated supply chain.
Utilising an integrated supply chain increases our flexibility to adjust to client requests, competitors’ actions, and events within the industries we service. Our model also reduces waste and lower costs.
