The coronavirus outbreak has generated a lot of concerns amongst workers and employees. This can be particularly true in resource projects where large groups of personnel are residing in camps.

As an acknowledged leader in the delivery of medical & risk advisory services, CPA Group has been fielding requests for information from concerned clients since late January 2020.

As part of our service to clients, CPA Group Medical Director Dr Scott Wilkinson has presented regular webinars to which all clients are invited. He provides valuable information about our current understanding of the coronavirus, with tips on managing the expectations of client workforces, travel planning and managing expatriate employees.

Our advisory division, iSafe SMS, has been kept incredibly busy providing assistance to our clients including Pandemic planning, Business Continuity, screening programs and many other consulting services across a huge array of industries.

As the crisis emerged, CPA Group implements its own crisis management & pandemic response plans to ensure we continue to conform to our service obligations, primarily ensuring 100% shift attendance.

We have also been requested by a number of companies (clients and other companies) to assist with the provision of screeners to check workers ranging from corporate offices to airlines to remove locations.

Our Paramedics and trained screeners are able to check the temperature of employees and ensure each worker completes a health questionnaire.

For CPA Group and its clients, the health of our workers is our paramount consideration, and with these measures we managing risk of transmission of this highly contagious virus.
