WA Health & Medical Support Manager
Samantha Pearce, a Registered Nurse of 12 years holding a Bachelor of Science from Curtin University of Technology (Western Australia).
Samantha has extensive experience in the area of remote nursing, specifically working in mining, oil & gas and the construction industries often as the sole practitioner on site. Samantha has also completed a post graduate certificate in Disaster Healthcare through Flinders University (South Australia).
Notably, Samantha produced and implemented a Mental Health Procedure for use in the Mining Industry, the first of its kind in Australia, sites using the procedure were the only sites to pass audits conducted by the Department of Mines and Petroleum.
She has also developed a Clinic Presentation Tool which maintains accurate records of all presentations to a site clinic and offers easy translation to reporting of statistics for both health and safety departments.
Samantha has been responsible for compiling and implementation of the corporate Health & Wellness Program for two major mining companies in Western Australia and assisted in implementing the same for Chevron’s Barrow Island facility.
