Maritime Security Guards (MSGs)

Corporate Protection Australia Group provide professional Maritime Security Guards (MSGs) and coxswains who have not only undertaken theory based but real-life training specific to the maritime and critical infrastructure industries.

Our Maritime Security Staff

Apart from meeting all the statutory requirements to be a security officer, our Maritime Security Guards are fully trained to AS4421-2011 (Australian Standard for guards and patrols) and must complete formal maritime security guard training. Our recruitment process also plays a big part in sourcing the right people from the outset. All Maritime security guards are chosen for a combination of their functional, technical and people skills, as well as their ability to cope with and manage change.

Many of our Maritime Security Guards are also trained and qualified in multiple other competencies such as breath alcohol testing to AS 3547-1997.  To date, Corporate Protection Australia Group has conducted over 500,000 breath alcohol tests at various sites.

Our staff are trained to operate and be fully conversant with various contractor management and electronic access control systems. As such they are competent in producing the various reports available from these systems.  Staff have a practical working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
